START's Community Resilience, Engagement, and Dialogue (CRED) Fellowship

Have you ever wondered how communities respond to terrorism or work to prevent it? 

Are you interested in working to prevent radicalization and violent extremism in communities? 

If so, then START's Community Resilience, Engagement, and Dialogue (CRED) Fellowship, a comprehensive, two-and-a-half –year, program designed for 4 undergraduate students at the University of Maryland, may be for you! 

Students will enter the program in the middle of their sophomore years, and the program will last through the end of their senior years.  

The program is designed to train students to work in homeland security-related positions, especially positions related to community engagement, community resilience, and Countering Violent Extremism (CVE).
