Chesterfield County Police Department Internship

Chesterfield County Police Department is recruiting summer interns for the Summer of 2012. Chesterfield County is a FIRST CHOICE suburban community located outside of the capital city of Richmond Virginia.  This community of over 300,000 is one of the fastest growing counties in Virginia.  Because of it's excellent schools and it's eye toward the future, it is an employer of choice.

Our police interns are unpaid but they have an unparalleled experience with unique opportunities to work in most areas of the department and learn every aspect of law enforcement. Attached is further information about this rich experience. Interested candidates should contact me 4-6 months in advance of the time they will need an internship as the application process is lengthy.  Qualified police interns are considered for future job opportunities as police officers.

We offer three other internships in criminal intelligence, human resources and forensics.  These opportunities are limited and require candidates with experience in these areas.

After reading the attached information. please contact me if you have questions regarding these fabulous opportunities.
