The annual Career and Internship Fair provides UMD students and alumni with an opportunity to meet face-to-face with employers to discuss internship, full-time and part-time employment opportunities. Over 240 employers have registered and are looking forward to meeting undergraduate and graduate students!

Each day has different employers so students are encouraged to plan ahead. Attendees should dress professionally and bring multiple copies of resumes. No preregistration is necessary.

  • Wear comfortable dress shoes, closed toe pumps or flats. Remember, you will be on your feet for hours!

Career Fair Tips

Be Prepared to attend; helpful hints:

1. Identify an objective for attending the Fair (i.e. learn about an industry, apply for a position, meet a new contact).
2. Prepare customized questions for the organizations of interest.
3. Follow-up. Establishing a relationship with an employer at the Fair is only the beginning. Make a plan to follow up and stay in touch with your organizations of interest.
