Chesterfield County Police Department is recruiting summer interns for the Summer of 2012. Our police interns are unpaid but they have an unparalleled experience with unique opportunities to work in most areas of the department and learn every aspect of law enforcement. Interested candidates should contact me 4-6 months in advance of the time they will need an internship as the application process is lengthy. Qualified police interns are considered for future job opportunities as police officers.
We offer three other internships in criminal intelligence, human resources and forensics. These opportunities are limited and require candidates with experience in these areas.
