Responsibilities:
Writing and distributing material via FaceBook, Twitter, and Constant Contact. Corresponding with government/elected officials. Representing THE INSTITUTE at meetings, Embassy events, Hill events and committee hearings.
Requirements:
High quality writing will be expected of interns. Interns must have a strong work ethic, professional appearance and proficient communication/diplomatic skills in order to interact with senior officials from the legislative and executive branches of the U.S. Government, local and state governments, foreign governments, international organizations, leaders of diverse religious organizations and members of the media.Qualifications:
• GPA equivalent of 3.0 or higher
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills
• Strong interest in international affairs
• Creative leadership skills
• Cooperative and team-oriented personality
• Versed in social media tools
• SEO skills preferred
