_{A vacancy announcement for a few survey statistician positions in the Demographic Directorate opened in USAJobs, Thursday, September 28, 2017 and will close at 11:59 p.m., EST, on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.  This position is for a GS-1530-07/09/11/12 and the duty station for this position is in the U.S. Census Bureau, Suitland, MD.  The person(s) selected for this position will perform duties such as applying statistical theories, techniques, and methods to programs for collecting, processing, or presenting statistical information.  They will also develop and design survey questionnaires for paper and/or automated collection efforts and work independently and on teams to complete tasks for the surveys.}
